Site progress

 REALLY happy with how the site’s coming along, despite all my frustration with it yesterday. Yesterday morning I configured the dns settings wrong and the site wasn’t coming up. I just figured it was taking a while to populate but— when I reread all the how-tos I realized I messed up and dove back in.

The site’s still nowhere near finished of course (who really finishes a neocities anyway?) but I feel a pretty real sense of progress with it, given that while it was down I filled out the entire About Me section, and pretty much half the doll/bear profiles. Still a tonnnnn of work left to go on the dolls, given that there’s roughly a million of them o_o;

Feeling pretty good about Blogger as a platform for this portion of the site. I’d tried Zonelets and I just wasn’t having fun with it— couldn’t imagine myself formatting everything so perfectly in HTML every time -__- There’s tags and labels on this thing too, which I really like. I haven’t made it functional yet but I intend to link to the label for each doll in their profile so people can see more pictures or see me talking about the doll here or something.

I’m going to have to get back to work on doing face-ups again soon. Biscuit is all smudged up and it’s a real shame because her face up is like… the best I’ve ever done in my life. 

Like do you see those black splotches on her nose?! How does that even HAPPEN?! I’m so mad, she only had this face up for three months… but I can replace it probably. I just need to wait till payday for some supplies and I’ll get to work again.
